The Only Exception

Was hoping to do well for term tests but guess this hope wld be far away agn. Driving has been rather fun, always looking foward to it. Dad even let me try out driving along the carpark area, and auto is so much easier than manual. Quite alot of things happened along the week but can;t seem to rmb them alrdy, but anw classmates in poly decided to have a Christmas presents exchange. The plan was to buy an unisex gift with budget btwn $5-$10 and on our last day of paper, we wld exchange by drawing lots. It was a first time for me and evryone was preetty excited too. Got a notebook thgh, simple, but its the thought that counts =)

Nxt week wld be church camp, feeling abit excited for it since we're divided into different colour tribes, but the best part is that it is held at Raffles Junior College! Its like an opportunity of a lifetime to ever have a chance to step ino a place like this, it also feels quite cool to be able to explore, play & sleepover, in the school of brains, hahas. It's been quite some time since I last went for a camp too, so the feeling is quite mixed up. The hols are here alrdy, but since the camp takes up the 1st week, there only a week more left, so I guess that leaves little time to really relax alrdy, so its time to make full use of what I have nw.

Thurs & Fri was a hectic 2 days for me. Mengchao last-min asked me to be his replacement for the Generation NYP event, which was like Mr/Miss Campus event organised by the Student Union & Ambassaodorial team, on Thurs right aft my last paper. Had to attend a briefing hence decided to kill time by joining sme of my classmates at gym, which was my first time going there. Wasn't properly attired, but tried out some exercise stations, and it was pretty good. Might consider joining them for their weekly gym sessions, see how it goes, lol. But anw bck to the the Gen NYP thing, the briefing was rather long-winded, frm 6.30-11pm..and I volunteered to be a doorman..collecting tickets n stamping chops on the hands. The event was on the next day, at Scape, and I was told it wld last frm 2pm-2am. That really nailed me hard since I didnt knw anyone there, and let alone I wasn't in either CCAs. Got to knw some ppl in my grp along the way thgh, and the event went rather well. Left earlier then expected & caught the last train since I didn't want to really stay bck n do clearing up while still having to cab home at 2am. Funny thing is tt nw I have a better view of SU & A-team..and I currently have them both in mind, together with adventure club as my potential CCAs nxt yr. Shall look more into them once the time comes.
