The Only Exception

Caught the movie "Megamind" with Jer & MC on Wed b4 meeting the rest to for JY's belated bday celebration. The rest of the week was busy & having trouble catching up with the things that were taught in school. Arnd end of Dec, church is having a camp, and Jer & I were having difficulties as we were pondering how to go abt asking our parents to sign the registration form. I went to ask JY how he did it in the past and his answer was "Just tell". So I decided to give it a try too, and told my mother abt it and that I've been going to church. She just asked why I wanted to go, and I told her I find the sermons useful since I cld apply it in my life and she said that if I think it helps me, then I shld carry on. She even subsidised $50 out of the $75 camp fee. My father is still kept in the dark abt this, hopefully he won't blow up when he hears abt it next time. Jer was also facing the same thing, but he went ahead to ask too, and his father signed it but his mother was quite angry. Hopefully things wld go well for him too.

Signed up for lifesaving CCA during one of the days last week with a friend. The ppl there kept pestering us to join..and that friend of mine promised them if he joined I wld join too, so both of us signed up for it. There wld be an orientation this week, and we wld nid to be in swimming trunks =p Its like I myself alrdy can't swim well, let alone saving smeone..moreover quite embarassing to flaunt my body too, lol. There wld be introduction to the CCA so shall see wat it is abt.
