Tried out for a waiter job with MC & Vic at Meritus Mandarin on Thurs. Me joining them was to replace another person for tt day. Got to put on a quite good-looking top, then it was briefing followed by instructions. The event was a staff celebration staff of the hotel itself. Heard it was a buffet style, hence it wldnt be as hard as the normal dining which requires us to both serve n clear. All we had to do was clear the plates n refill the drinks. Surprisingly, Kumar the comedian came for a part of the programme. He told some really funny jokes, at least it didnt made the job tt boring. Arm n legs were aching by the time I got home..as thgh I had carried weights n ran some marathon. Guess I wasn't used to the long standing hours n I didnt expect the weight of plates + utensils wld be so heavy. Well I considered a really long time abt going back the nxt day, until Sun, but decided not too. So far MC has been complaining ever since, lol. Caught the movie, "Legend Of The Fist, Chen Zhen" ystdy. It was not bad, felt it was almst lyk another Ipman movie, just tt it was even more gruesome n he fought even more than the 10 ppl he asked for in Ipman. Donnie Yen is really fit n awesome, hahs. 9:38 PM
