Hectic week with exams, spent the last week b4 the papers in NYP studying in the lib with the rest. It was not too bad, just slightly distracted with joining the rest on the look out for "catch of the day", hahs. Made a promise to Mengchao during this period that I wldn't use the com till he end of my papers, on Mon. Forfeit wld be doing 20 push-ups at the Atrium, shouting out loud each number. I cld have easily broke this, but decided to take it as a challenge and my first-step to stop my com-addiction. Managed to pull it off, thgh I used it to browse trgh sme exam papers and a little peek onto FB, haha. Wld be considering doing these in the future, it kind of helps =) Went to donate blood yesterday @ Bishan Lib. Saw a notice abt it when I was studying there past few weeks ago, and I've always wanted to experience donating blood, thus decided to go donate. The blood drive is held on every first Tuesdays of every month. Was surprised it wasn't pain, just a slight pinch and aft 10 mins, the bag was filled up. The nurse told me the next time I cld donate agn wld be in Nov, 12weeks, but shall consider agn. My mum doesn't like me doing this, hahs. Been going back to help out with drill teaching for the BB boys for the past 2 weeks. Improvements were marginal, but what bothers me is the attitude, the far cry of that quality from our batch or our seniors. Standing for abt 30mins under the sun wasn't a prob for us in the past, but with the current batch, its as thgh they had been doing it for an hour. Could it be with the way how parents are guiding their child in present times ? For me, looking from the UG point of view, I think seniors and officers play a part in these too..the grp of officers that were with us trgh thick & thin, the ones who kept pushing us to our limits. Just wished they cld be here once more, but now that the torch has been passed, its just up to the few of us to carry on the journey. Do hope what the captain has in stalled wld bring abt a change in the coy. Presently, since we are close to vying for "Best Coy" award this year, hopefully this wld kick-start and ignite that flame within each of them. This hols wld be a simple one for me, well I guess it has always been almost the same for the other hols, lol, but for this, I'm going to spent it watching shows lyk nvr b4, at the same time, exercise lyk nvr b4, and also, study lyk nvr b4. Really, really hope I can pull all these off at least..then it wld assure me that I do have some self-management in me..which feels lyk none currently/most of my life actually. Shall end with 2 quotings, the first one is by Clarice =), the other one is frm some blogger that I blog-hopped to, lol.
