Been quite a week, celebrated NDP at Marina Sands, IR for a night. It was quite okay, rooms were quite normal, but the view frm the top at the Sky park, 57th storey, was spectacular. Headed to the club lounge downstairs to have a drink with Nik, so as to celebrate us being 18th n to chi chat abit. Tried Apple Vodka which was mixed with sme other stuff, and it tasted quite bad..lyk cough syrup =p Well, each glass was abt $18, so what to do but to finish it. I must admit I'm really not into drinking, so ex and I don't appreciate it. Buffet breakfast the next day topped the scale too, $36 per person, but the spread they had there was rather good. Later on during this week was YOG Journey of the flame with Coca Cola motivators. Had to go for 3 out of the 6 days, 7am-8pm, but it was a nice & enjoyable experience. Never expected myself to be such a 'high' person, to do endless cheering together with smiles and wavings to the crowd. No regrets aft going through it, made some new frens too, most of them in their 2nd or final years. Hope the ties lasts, since they alrdy celebrated 2 birthdays for the ppl in the grp, which shows the bond. Church lifegrp ppl got me a Mp3 player as a birthday present. Really surprised as I nvr expected them to get one for me, since I've only known them for such a shortwhile, moreover I nvr thght I wld own a Mp3 in my life. Both grateful & thankful to them! Celebrated Clarence's bday tdy, or more of ystdy instead. Was great to see Wanhao agn aft so long. Can't believe he is wearing size XS for his shirts, lol. He was even tempted to buy a female Man United Jersey, since it was at an ideal size for him. The shopkeeper even hinted to him tt it was for females, hahs. Ate at Shokudo, which was slightly costly, but at least it filled me up entirely. Headed down to Marina Square to play pool and some arcade, b4 taking some pics and headed home. Quite a number of ppl who havnt seen me for some time have said my looks have changed..and it all pointed down to one thing.."Your face looks sharper now". Don't knw whether its a good thing anot, but still appreciate their feedback, at least they remember my face, lol. Joined another charity housepainting work with the Community Service Club frm NYP. Some of the ppl frm the Coca Cola Motivators grp are in this club too, which I had actually registered to join, but didnt go for orientation. Anw they got me to joined, so now I'm quite looking foward to it. Right shall end it here for now. 11:03 PM
