The Only Exception

Last week of sch was quite okay, with each day yearning towards the break, and finally now I have it. Shall just skip to Sat, where Climb & Run happened. It was tiring, really felt as thgh it was my limit, anymore and I wld have collapsed. There were a total of 1500 steps and a 3.6kn run in btwn. Ran up and down frm 1st-7th floor, ran abit, then up and down agn, the cycle repeating itself trghout the run. Had to run 2 rounds, which seemed almst impossible to me, since I alrdy felt lyk giving up at 3/4 of the 1st round. But I decided to give it my all n push all the way. Managed to complete it..which felt as thgh all the stairs I had climbed in my lfe, get combined together during that moment. Caught 'The Karate Kid' later on that night at Cathay with family. It was quite an okay show, expected much, but it was rather simple, kind of funny thgh. Getting a feeling tt there wld be sequels to this movie, showing Jayden Smith growing up and stuff.

It was aft the show when the aching on my legs began and on Sun, I felt lyk an old man, going one step at a time on staircases. Had Island Creamery with Julia, Clarice, Vic, Meng, Jer, Jianyi, Clarence later during the evening. The ice cream there is really not bad, tried blackforest and apple pie, nice flavours. Next stop wld be Udders, haha. Played Monopoly Deal aft the ice cream, it was my first time playing, and due partly to beginner's luck, I won the game on my first attempt, of course with the help of the rest too, hahah. The game is kind of simple, yet interesting to play. Julia, Clarice and JY left aftwards and the rest of us had our dinner. Enjoyed the time since we got to talk and catch up with one another. Tmr wld be playing soccer at East Coast with dear Wanhao and others..who has been asking me to join them..kind of reluctant since leg is still aching, but considering how many promises I h i made, shall go for it.
