Shall date back all the way from last Sat, where dad and I went to attend bro's NPCC award presentation for its gold unit recepients. Was impressed with the GOH's gun drills, footdrills were okay, except a couple of wrong timings. Liked their all-white uniforms, looking so smart, esp the flag bearers. Well, first week of school was quite hectic, lecturers taught quite fast..each of them saying that everyone wld fall asleep if they speak any slower. Practicals were shown once, and we were expected to follow thrgh alrdy..but we were allowed to ask as many ques as we want. Would need to make it a habit to browse thrgh the things that were taught daily so as to refresh my memory. Signed up for badminton and frisbee as CCAs, during CCA open hse, still deciding which one I wld want to commit to. Also signed up for Community Service Club, perhaps it wld help me clock some CIP hrs that might be needed in future. Bought a Fujitsu laptop too, in white, looks cool with its 5 glow when-touched buttons, haha. Heard presentations during projects and stuff, has to be made wearing formal clothings..tie, office wear. Sounds ridiculous, but I suppose this is to help us to apply during our jobs in the future. One crazy thing I did was on Fri, where Greg, YC, Wai Kuong and I went to join Hengyong and his frens at The Cage in Kallang for soccer from 12-2am, which was later extended to 4. Saw many familiar faces, mostly from the 2008 graduating batch. One of Hengyong's frens drove us back home, and the roads were so empty that we reached Bishan in less than 15mins. Friday was also the day which PHS held its 45th Anniversary concert, Radix, which had its Performing Arts Group performing and the BB+GB's PD. The concert continued on Sat too, and all in all, I think it was a job well done by everyone, could see their efforts paid off aft endless hrs of trainings. Got to try out being part of the backstage crew where Ms Chung roped us in when she saw us hanging arnd the backstage. It was a fun experience! Proud of the PD team for their good performance on both days, despite the mistakes they made, which no one wld wanted them to happen, but all in all its over, so regardless of what happened, do it better the next time when theres another chance. Grateful for their patience and perseverance for each training with the helpers, and always putting on a smile aft each training despite the fatigue and having lesser time to complete homework. This small things gives me the push to come down for each training whenever I could. Thanks for not giving us a hard time =) Went to Jianyi's church for the 2nd time ystdy, where they talked abt BGR. The pastor was a joker, and they talked abt dating since most of the ppl there were young teens ranging frm 11-17. Learnt some things, and he pointed out not to believe in love at first sight, which I myself sort of believe in it, hahs. Well sch starts tmr agn, and as the weeks go by, things wld bound to get tougher..so we ourselves shld aim to get tougher too. Jessica Liu got a spot in the top 10 during Star Awards just now, whoo! But too bad she wld be quitting acting soon. Mum's birthday is tmr 5:14 PM
