27/07/92 A big HELLO to you!

Hope For Tommorrow
Thursday, March 19, 2009

It has been a nice, whacky 2 weeks. Had Dining Etiquette, food was okay, learnt some new dining manners and quite enjoyed myself. Shall skip till Sat, where Drill Camp was held. There was Chaoyang Camp and Gospel Camp being held together as ours. So the school was quite congested. Plus the hyperness of both the Gospel Camp n Chaoyang Camp, quite alot of noise produced. First programme of the camp started off with drill, as indicated by the name of the camp alrdy, hahs. Cldn't join them as there was Chi Oral & Listening Prelim for 5N. Joined them aft tt, and taught those taking Drill 1. Left for home to change and got ready for some magician show at Clarke Quay with family halfway thrgh the camp. The place was crowded with Liverpool & Man-U fans, as there was a broadcast there for the major match on that day. Headed back to camp aft the show.

Second Day was church service, slept during some parts..cldn't help it. *Sorry for setting a bad example to those juniors who saw* Aft service was 3 hrs plus of drill, did abt 2 hrs of drill, b4 letting the Drill 1 guys to rest, since officer suggested too. Went to look at the GOH training, and they were impressive, it was lyk an overnight success. Had movie screening in the night, "Grindeon Gang". It was a very good, inspirational show, and I dare say it was better than "Facing The Giants". Eager to watch it again! The $37 spent on chips for the boys during the movie, was gone in just half an hour to the show. Aft the show was supper, had prata. Darren was lyk descirbing the mutton curry as "watery waste"/ a.k.a, "LS". And that the prata was lyk the toilet paper, in which we had to tear the prata into smaller pieces n dip the curry. So it was being described by Darren to be using toilet paper and dipping into "LS" and eating it. Whats worse is that he placed the packet of prata flooding with curry at his butt and made the "sound of LS-ing". AND I WAS IN FRONT OF HIM EATING MY PRATA THE WHOLE TIME HE WAS DOING IT. Thankfully, I wasn't disgusted but engulfed with laughther instead, and finished the prata =)

Last day of camp was drill mock test, I helped to prepare the Drill 1 to recall what they had learn, b4 heading for my remedial. When remedial ended, so did Drill Camp, and I headed to Subway with the seniors. Tues was outing with the gays, so went for ice-skating at Kallang Leisure Park. It was expensive, but all of us did enjoyed ourselves. I have to totally agree, that despite roller-blading having more balance and easier to manauver, ice-skating just totally overtakes it due to the cold temperature of the skating ring, and it is much more safer as it wld be the ice you are falling on and not the hard ground. Suffered major abrasions on my leg aft the whole thing, really hurt alot, even till now. Ate at KFC b4 heading to city area to shop for Clarence's things and finally homed. Spent ALOT of money this week, so I ought to really save, save and save, while possible. Have not been doing my hols assignments too, and I just can't find the time, or discipline to do it... Got to try rush it all out during the remaining days.

Promo Test is just this week, and Enrolment Service is the week ahead, so hope the Boys wld not be tensed up and everything to go well. Wishing GB the best of luck for thier Drill Com, so...good luck! Clarence would also be leaving for Korea for his floorball national schools meet. May he have fun there, and BRING back some nice goodies for us, hahas. Alright, tests would be coming up soon aft sch reopens, I better set my mind in the correct position.
