Been a great week, Watched Hellboy 2 on Tues with Jerome n the rest. Missed abt 5 mins of the show due to the long queue for the tickets. But it was nice overall=) Had been trying to study but at no avial, the thngs just cant get inside n stay there. Ystdy was POP, n it was great. Enjoyed the tributes made by the seniors n juniors. Lunch was okay?..didnt get to eat much, but was quite full thgh. Took a number of pics, heard quite alot of ppl crying, saw hugs given to one another. The sight was touching, but guess ever1s going to miss each other.
Played soccer with the BB grads..really had so much fun..havnt had tat feeling for a long time. And wats more surprising is tat i mixed arnd with the other grads whom i usually dont talk much to them. Btw, Mr Chan, one of my officer brght his baby along. He was so cute..chubby n fair skin! Mr Chan said he drank lots of milk tats why..the baby kept smiling bck when i smiled,lols. Too bad i didnt get a pic of him. Anw headed bck to prepare Full-U n went bck to sch again. Mr Ong fetched the 5 of us, HK,Sam,Bryan,Jon,me, to Singapore Swimming Club for our Founder's man Award ceremony. Saw Greg Ang n David there..said they were studying,hahs. Well, We were told to fall in smewhere behind the building for attendace marking, n also to wait for the late comers. One of the officers said: " Recipients!, if today was the last day of selection for the Founder's award, NONE of u wld be getting it! Sme of u were late, and all of ur uniforms are so raggart. I noe u guys ar thinking wats the point of saying all these nw when we ar getting the award. Well, let me tell u this, we can still cancel out ur name at the very last min n u can kiss ur Founder's goodbye. So u guys better show us wat it takes to receive tat award! " Well, after tat everyone put on their best cover, but shortly we were asked to head to the restaurant for our briefing on hw to receive the award.
Waited for so long b4 dinner came, n talked to a teacher-in-charge of another BB coy. Was nice talking to him, got to know much abt him. The food was average, it was okay, but i just didnt really had the appetite to eat. We kept saying hw nice if Derek was here to help us with the food =D Mdm Lee came instead of Mrs Tan, and she talked to us quite alot. The guest of honour was Mr Khoo Boon Hui, the S'pore Police Force Commisioner. We were called out to receive the award halfway during the meal, n Samuel kept joking on wat to do when we get up on the stage,hahas. Well, i went first, followed by the others, n was Sean Lai ushered us out. We kept admiring the badge..didnt noe it was quite heavy, n it really seemed lyk a dark choc=) Took alot of pics after tat, most of which were informal,n Mr Ong wants the pics to be uploaded onto the Coy's blog,hhahs! But too bad i left my shoebag at the restaurant..my Adidas shoe n polishing equips ar inside=( Hope it wld be found soon.

ANd for today, It is my birthday=) My parents brght me to Takashimaya to get sme thngs, n went to Park Royal for buffet lunch, followed by visiting the Flyer while on our way bck. Received my first present frm Julia, n the rest i tink wld be tmr,hahs. Bryan n sme of the BB guys will be brging me to Seoul Garden to celebrate. Haiz, tat wld add up to 2 days of having good food...gonna put on alot!=p It has been an enjoyable weekend, but all good thngs cme to an end, so all the best to evryone, Sec1s-3s for their CT, Sec 4Exp on their nxt Prelims, n 4N on the upcoming Prelims n "N"s. Study hard ppl! Anw, really thank n appreciate everone for their wishes =) HAPPY BIRTHDAY to all whose birthday falls today=] Uploading sme pics, but more cld be seen at Clarice's blog, hahs. Ah, finally recovered frm the sore throat n cough. Fried n chocolatety stuff, here i come!! HAhas, kidding=) This week was quite fine, just a little boring as most teachers are giving us practice papers to do during each lesson. But Chinese lessons ar always relaxing, as we get to watch a Jap mystery drama in Chi subtitles, quite an interesting show,hahs. Shall skip to Thurs, we watched "Facing The Giants" after morning assembly for movie screening. It was my 2nd time watching it, but it never fails to amaze me=] Just recalls all the teamwork n bonding i have learnt frm tat show, which were used in BB. Guess all the Christians were touched by the show,haha.
Well today was quite okay, Jerome didnt came sch (Ponned!!)XD , did a survey conducted by the govt abt our sch, then Council celebrated their investiture, so cld see other sch councillors being invited over to witness the ceremony. Oh, n if i am not wrong, Mr Ng will be coming bck nxt wk!, hahah, n i bet his first ques to the class wld be : " Hey class, so did u all miss me when i was gone? " , n after he says this he will give his cheeky smile,lols. But guess he wld be much more serious than before since Prelims n "N"s ar nearing. Next week Sat wld be POP, and heard frm most of the Sec 4s tat they plan to "pon" the event,hahs. Hope not too many wld be gone, as the committee has been slogging their efforts to make it a nice event.
Nxt Sat wld also be Founder's man Award ceremony. It wld be in the evening time and expect to have lots of people coming. But the highlight of the whole thing wld be the 9 course dinner!, heheh=D Gonna starve myself for frm morn till afternoon to prepare for this wonderful feast,haha. Total of five of us wld be getting the award frm our coy this yr. Me, Hongkiat, Samuel, Bryan and Jonathan. Many more cld have gotten too, but they just missed the requirements by a small margin. Guess what? I wld be staying overnight at Swissotel on 8th-9th August to celebrate NDP! =D Wld be nice cos staying with Perry, Nik n my bro. The view might not be as good as last yr's, as we stayed at Ritz Carlton during tat time, and the venue was just a stone throw's away frm the parade, cld watch the parde frm the tv or just look out of the window to see it =) But nw Swissotel is furthur away,so we just have the tv to show us the parade. At least hope we will get to see the Black Knights n fireworks, hahs.
Okay, shall stop here, better start preparing myself for the upcoming "important things"

Had been sick during the weekends, sore throat, cough, flu, even now, but recovering=) Went to the doctor on Sat n headed for tuition after that. After tuition, an incident happened. My father, who came to fetch me, left the car keys in the car, and he got out of the car. He then winded up the window from outside by pressing the auto wind, so the window would wind up all the way. When the window was abt 3/4 winding up, he realised that he had left the car key inside, n tried to open the door, but it was too late, the windows were winded up and the car had an auto-locked system, so it locked all the doors. As all this happened, i was just coming down from the tutor's hse, so was wondering why my father wasnt in the car n he looked panicky. He then told me the story,lols.
He was afraid that the car's battery wld run out as he had slotted the key into the car, so the car was in ignition mode, but luckily he did not turn the engine on. We then took a cab bck and my father went to search for the spare car key. He went bck to my tutor's hse n then drove bck. These was my first time witnessing such an incident, but hoped it doesnt happen again,hahas. Watched "Night At The Musuem" in the night, borrowed from my mum's colleague. Was quite nice and funny=) Today there isnt any sch due to our sch's good achievements by the CCAs. Anw today is GB day,hahs.
Oh well, nth much to say, just trying to spend time wisely today, watched abt half of the Miss Universe, well, Miss Venezuela got it. Thght it wld be either Miss Columbia or Miss Mexico instead,hahs. Anw good luck to the newly crowned Miss Universe to promote peace in the world and better luck for Miss Singapore next time,haha. And dont get the wrong idea..i just watch cos of wanting to know who will win, n not "the other way round" XD, really. Okay shall stop here.

PD performance on Sat at MilkRun was not at all successful due to the DJ's sound system. They kept playing the song after the starting part, repeating for a few times, so in the end we had to start from half of the song onwards. Everyone was upset, cos we train v hard for this n esp the sec 2s, with the need to cope with hmewrk n NDP rehearals. But i tink we did a great job, most of us gave that 120% effort and given a short time of 3 weeks to learn n bond together, We really did so much=) Guess training earlier wld produce less "stress" for everyone in the team, this cld be a good lesson learnt. All the best to the team for the rest of the performances to come=]
After the performance, we changed n ran the 4.5km (not sure hw long). When it started,ppl were practically walking, then the MC said: " People!, this is MilkRun, not MilkWalk!, so can u all start running ?!" ,hahahs! Despite him saying that, ppl continued to walk, n ppl lyk me tried to run, but it was too crowded to get pass everyone. I finally "broke free" from the walking ppl after lyk nearly halfway thrgh the route, then started to run. Ran passed lots n lots of ppl..most of them tired out from the distance. Even thgh i ran passed many ppl, i still kept seeing more ppl in front of me, n it was lyk a never-ending cycle =p In the end, i completed it,hhahs. Saw a few young boys running too, halfway during the run, n they were just lyk 5-8 yrs old, really v fit,lol. Plan to join more of such jogathon or charity runs in time to come,heheh, find it really challenging=D
Well, today i headed to Singapore Association for The Visually Handicapped Centre with some of the NE ambassadors for the "Dine in the dark". We had a mini tour arnd the place, learnt tat the centre provides aid to visually handicapped by teaching them hw to be independent, learning hw to use the computer, hw to be massagers, and even telephone call receivers. One of the helpers there talked to me, n told me that the blind ppl's sense of hearing are v good so deceiving them wld be useless, moreover, they can calculate numbers faster than us. Almost half of the staff are visually handicapped, and one of the guy introduced to us, helps other fellow ppl with the same problem, to find jobs. The partially blind ppl wld learn hw to make handicrafts out of stamps n other things n the thngs were nicely made. We then headed for our "Dine in the dark", in of course, a dark room=) It was pitch black..i placed my hand near my face n i still cldnt see it..lyk i was really blind.
And guess what? The waiter n waitress who served us were blind, n they were able to serve us food without having any problem finding where we were sitted. We had to find our utensils arnd the table n even pour water by ourselves. The trick was to place a finger in the glass n fill it till the water reaches the finger. It was really amazing to feel n find out where the food was, i tried using the utensils, but find using the hand easier=D When we were done eating, they switched on the light n the table was in a mess,haha. But my side was spotless clean,heheh=] Thanked the waiter n waitress who served us..they had been our guide during the process, wldnt noe wat to do without them. I learnt alot more abt the visaully handicapped n had a great experience hw it felt to be blind. In times lyk these they require lots of help n encouragement.. one of the blind workers there wished that more volunteers wld step up to help, n for more blind ppl to be employed by companies.
I shall one day promise to go back there to volunteer, learn much more abt the ppl. Read an article pasted on one of the walls in the centre, and it said " 8.4 million ppl in Asia would become blind in the year 2010". Think about it, the sense of sight is by far the most precious sense among the five. Hope ppl wld cherish their sight n help those without it. Whew, guess this is my longest post so far:) Its going to be tougher as the days come, time to make the best out of everything

ALmost everything was the same as last week, homeworks n stuff..even more exhausted. But cant really complain since i havnt really been using my time wisely..moreover, the sec 1s n 2s ar busy training for their NDP, n having POP rehearsals. My juniors faces are all mostly tired out when i saw them the past few days..they kept complaining on how tired they were, but still continued to go for the trainings,hahs. Really applaude them for thier "fighting" spirit, mayb i shld learn frm them =)
Mr Ng is heading for Re-service for the next 2 weeks n he kept emphasising "i got NS, so any of u got any Physics TYS ques better ask me now" , hahs. Dun worry, i am sure the whole class will miss u,lols!. Heard that he will be giving us sme Prelim workshts to do while he isnt present. He even told us his post in the NS, but shall not elaborate any furthur, it is 4D's top little secret, haha=) Anw, the weekends ar going to be jam packed with activities for me. I was called in to replace one of the juniors for PD performance tis Sun, and have been training with them since Wed, cos i was alrdy quite familiar with the moves. The performance is for MILK(Mainly I Love Kids) Run, it is a charity event to raise funds for kids, n i guess it is lyk a way to celebrate Youth Day. People ar required to donate n also run for the event. Even we BB also nid,lols, it is lyk once we ar done with the performance, we nid to change n run for the event, hahas!. Its going to be tiring since we have to join the 4.5km event, but lucky for us it isnt the 9.4km one =D
Having Dine In The Dark session at Toa Payoh's Visually Handicapped Home on Mon, it is organised by NE teachers, so we will just go there to learn abit more of NE, and also get to eat in the dark, haha. Hope it wld be fun and i wld learn smethng=] Was given more homework for the weekends due to the extra Monday, which most teacher's take it as a long weekend break. Hmmz, shall try to complete them, n also nt to break my decision or mindset to work hard. Best of luck to those having Prelims, and oral nxt week. Getting Founder's award on 26th ;)
